Fraud and security risk forms fast - and it's easy to miss live
A skimmer gets clipped onto a card slot in nine seconds. A "customer" lingers by an ATM for four minutes without ever transacting, waiting for someone to enter their PIN. A second person stands a little too close to a teller window, coaching a distressed customer through a withdrawal they don't want to make.
None of that shows up as an alarm. It just looks like normal branch traffic - unless something is actually watching the behavior, not just recording the scene.
The cost of missing it: by the time a suspicious transaction gets flagged in the back office, the money and the person are long gone.
