How Founders Can Book Meetings at GITEX Global 2026 (A Visitor’s Guide)
GITEX Global 2026 runs from 7 to 11 December 2026 in Dubai, at its new home, the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai. For a founder, the week is less about the halls and more about the conversations you leave with: investors, large technology companies, potential clients and partners.
Most meetings at GITEX don’t happen by chance. They’re booked before the event. This guide explains how that works for founders attending as visitors, what you can and can’t get without a stand, and how to book a free meeting with Easycomm while you’re there. For dates, venue and planning tips, see our GITEX Global 2026 Dubai guide.
Visitor or Exhibitor: What Changes for Meetings
The biggest difference is access to the organisers’ matchmaking.
- Exhibiting startups: the Expand North Star investor programme says its concierge team matches investors with exhibiting startups based on each investor’s thesis. Investors finalise their personal itineraries by mid-November, so these meetings are set well before the show.
- Visitors: you book your own meetings. That is very doable, but it takes preparation.
If investor meetings are your main goal, read the Founder’s Pass details on expandnorthstar.com and check what it includes before you register.
Step 1: Register on the Official Website Only
Buy or register for your pass on gitex.com, and on expandnorthstar.com for the startup and investor programme. Prices depend on the pass type and the date you buy, so check the current price on the official registration page. Avoid unofficial resellers.
Step 2: Make a Target List Three Weeks Out
Write down 15 to 25 organisations you want to meet, split into three groups:
- Investors whose focus matches your sector and stage
- Large companies you want as customers or partners
- Service partners you may need to build or scale your product
Use the exhibitor and speaker lists the organisers publish on gitex.com as your starting point.
Step 3: Request Meetings Before You Fly
- The official event app. GITEX publishes an official event app before the show. At recent GITEX events it has included attendee and exhibitor networking. Download it as soon as it is live, complete your profile and send meeting requests early.
- Direct outreach. A short LinkedIn message or email works best: who you are, one line on what you are building, why them, and two time slots on specific days.
- Warm introductions. Ask your existing investors, advisers and customers who they know among the attendees. An introduction beats a cold message.
Keep each request short and specific. “15 minutes on 9 December about X” gets more replies than “let’s catch up at GITEX”. For more on choosing who to meet, read our GITEX 2026 meeting strategy.
Step 4: Use the Scale Summit Day
The week opens on 7 December with the GITEX Scale Summit, a day of dialogue on AI economies, policy and scaling technology, before the expo floor opens on 8 December. Summit days tend to be calmer than expo days, which makes them better for unplanned conversations with senior attendees.
Step 5: Prepare a One-Page Brief
For every meeting, bring a one-page summary: problem, product, traction, what you need (capital, a pilot or a partner) and a clear next step. Investors and large companies take many meetings during GITEX week. A crisp brief makes yours easy to remember and easy to forward.
Step 6: Follow Up Within 48 Hours
Send a short note that recaps what you discussed and confirms the next step while the conversation is fresh. Most opportunities from GITEX week are won or lost in the follow-up.
How Easycomm Helps Founders: Our Track Record
Founded in 2015, EasyComm Innovations has spent more than 10 years turning ideas into working software for startups and established businesses. Today the team has completed 2,000+ projects for 500+ clients across the USA, UK, UAE, Australia and India, with 100+ in-house team members. We have worked with seed-funded founders and Fortune 500 teams, often at the same time.
What We Have Achieved
- Recognised by Clutch in 2025 for our work with clients.
- Odoo 19 Functional Certified specialists for ERP and Odoo projects.
- Our own products in market: we build and support our own Shopify apps for subscriptions, loyalty, memberships, messaging and B2B wholesale, so we know first-hand what it takes to launch, support and grow a product that real merchants use every day.
- AI in production: with our AI video analytics software, a 42-store regional retail chain cut its incident response time by 68%.
- Computer vision on real factory and warehouse floors: counting, dispatch verification and safety monitoring for Mohini Health & Hygiene, Zimgold, Aviagri and Pack Universe. Read the four deployments.
What Founders and Product Teams Say
“Easycomm delivered our AI recommendation engine in 6 weeks. It increased our average order value by 23% in the first month. The team understood the business problem: not just the tech.”
Head of Product, eCommerce platform
“We needed on-device AI for our healthcare app: HIPAA compliance was non-negotiable. Easycomm built it right the first time. Zero data leaves the device. Our users trust it.”
CTO, digital health startup
“I own a subscription based business and spent 5 years and $500,000 on my first website full custom build. The day came when I met the easysubs team and they changed everything.”
Founder review, 1 Percent Fitness Store (United States)
