GITEX Global 2026 Dubai: Dates, Venue and What to  Expect (Plus How to Meet Easycomm There)

GITEX  Global 2026 takes place from 7 to 11 December 2026 in Dubai, and for the first time it moves to the  Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. Easycomm will be attending, and if you have a software,  AI, robotics or automation project in mind, this is a good week to sit down with our team in person.

What Is Changing in 2026?

1. A new home at Expo City Dubai

Until 2025, GITEX Global was held at Dubai World Trade Centre, with its startup show Expand North  Star at Dubai Harbour. In 2026 both move to Expo City Dubai. According to the organisers, the venue  offers about 2.2 million square feet of space as part of a USD 2.7 billion expansion, more than 20,000  parking spaces, and a location next to the planned new international airport in Dubai South. The  Dubai Metro Red Line also serves Expo City through the Expo 2020 station.

2. New dates in December

GITEX moves from October to December. The organisers say this puts the event in Dubai’s peak  tourism season with cooler weather, and they are promoting the week as a “TechCation”, a business  trip blended with the city’s hospitality and culture.

3. One integrated platform

GITEX Global and Expand North Star come back together at one location. That brings technology  buyers, founders, investors and government delegations into the same venue during the same week.

4. The GITEX Scale Summit

The week opens on 7 December with the GITEX Scale Summit, a full day of dialogue on AI  economies, policy and scaling technology, before the expo floor opens on 8 December.

How Big Is GITEX? Numbers From the Last Edition

GITEX Global 2025, the 45th edition, ran from 13 to 17 October 2025 across Dubai World Trade  Centre and Dubai Harbour. Official results reported by the Emirates news agency WAM include:

• More than 6,800 exhibitors

• About 2,000 startups

• About 1,200 investors

• Participants from 180 countries

• At Expand North Star, founders from more than 100 countries meeting investors who  manage over USD 1.1 trillion in assets

GITEX’s own website says the 2025 edition used more than 40 halls of exhibition space. Past stages  have hosted leaders from governments and companies such as OpenAI, G42, IBM, Microsoft and  Siemens. The 2026 edition aims to build on that scale at a larger venue.

Which Technology Topics Will You See?

GITEX covers artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud and data centres, quantum, digital health,  smart cities, mobility, new energy and more. One area that matters directly to many Easycomm  clients is GITEX World RobotiX, the 2026 platform for robotics, humanoids and embodied AI. The  organisers’ page highlights these themes:

• Robotics in manufacturing and automation

• Autonomous vehicles and mobility systems

• Service robots in healthcare, retail and hospitality

• Warehousing and supply chain intelligence

• Smart infrastructure and the public realm

The same page reports that more than 22,000 humanoid robots shipped globally in the first half of  2026, and that Dubai is targeting more than 200,000 robots deployed by 2032. These are the  organisers’ figures, but they show how fast the physical AI market is moving.

Why Dubai Matters for Your Technology Plans

GITEX is linked to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to place Dubai among the world’s  top three urban economies by 2033. Government and enterprise buyers in the region are investing  in AI, digital services and smart infrastructure. As one example, Abu Dhabi’s government super app  TAMM was presented in 2025 as an AI public servant that can complete citizen transactions.  Companies that want to sell, build or partner in this market often start with face-to-face meetings,  and GITEX puts thousands of them in one week.

1. Register early. Get your visitor pass from gitex.com and check which days suit you: the  Summit on 7 December, the expo from 8 to 11 December, or both.

2. Book your meetings before you fly. Show floors are busy. Pre-booked meetings give you  protected time. You can book Easycomm through the Book a meeting button on  easycomm.io.

3. Plan your travel to Expo City. Use the Expo 2020 Metro station or arrange a taxi, and allow  time for walking between halls.
